SMOKETOWN NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN

The Smoketown Neighborhood Plan is available for you to view.  This Neighborhood Plan is a compilation of community voices documented by graduate students from the University of Louisville Master of Urban Planning Program, and supported by the Smoketown Neighborhood Association. Those involved in the documentation of this planning process include: Project Management | Eric Matravers, Kendra Harruff Community Engagement | Hannah Crepps, Brian Wortinger Data & Research | Jaime Crawford, Willow Dietsch, Wyatt Knuzman, Grant List Plan Document | Kendra Harruff, Jaime Crawford Class Instructor | Dr. Kelly Kinahan Smoketown Neighborhood Association | President, Randy Weber

The vision statement and draft recommendations are based on themes that have emerged in discussions with the community about current and future assets, priority issues, and their overall hopes for the future. We offer these draft recommendations as a starting point. In moving forward, we suggest additional community engagement that will allow residents to add, edit, or create their own vision statement, and directly build their own goals, objectives, and policies which will make up their final Smoketown Neighborhood Plan document.
